Īct as a floor warden and helps ensure the safety of the people in his or her designated area during evacuations or emergencies.Prepare and distribute weekly agendas for meetings and weekly Governor’s Office memos. Organize and track paperwork, including but not limited to travel requests from Executive Directors and state agencies, invoices and receipts, and other materials. Īct as a gatekeeper to the COS and their time.Ĭreate and manage project pipelines, ensuring deliverables are relayed and on time.Ĭreate and ensure timely completion of relevant briefing materials for the COS to ensure they are prepared for meetings.Often shadow the COS to provide follow up materials and action items to other senior leaders in the administration. Īssisting COS with daily responsibilities and often special tasks.Provide coverage for Senior Staff if/when their Executive Assistants are out of office. Ĭollaborate with the Governor’s scheduling team on ensuring seamless scheduling between Governor, COS and other members of senior staff.Īct as liaison for the COS to other offices within the Governor’s Office and state agencies.Duties also include special projects.ĭirectly manage and oversee the COS daily calendar, including but not limited to internal meetings with senior staff, cabinet members, and the Governor meetings with external stakeholders, and travel planning/logistics. This role manages the scheduling of appointments, meetings, and events, and assists the COS in project management and day to day operations. This position is responsible for all administrative support to the COS and plays an active role in day to day meetings and operations. This position does not have supervisory responsibility. Organizational Relationships: This position reports jointly to the Chief of Staff and the Deputy Chief of Staff and is part of the Governor’s Office.
